Upper and Lower GI Therapeutic Endoscopy
Track: GI Bleeding (Full-Day Course) This track provides focused hands-on training in essential therapeutic techniques for the management of upper and lower GI bleeding. Participants will gain practical experience in the endoscopic management of Mallory-Weiss tears, variceal bleeding, and gastric and duodenal ulcer bleeding, including the use of over-the-scope clip systems. The Lower GI track will focus on the management of angiodysplasia/AVMs using argon plasma coagulation (APC), post-EMR bleeding, endoscopic clipping, diverticular bleeding, and endoscopic rubber band ligation of hemorrhoids. Through simulated hands-on exercises, participants will develop practical skills in selecting and deploying appropriate hemostatic techniques across a range of challenging clinical scenarios. |

Basic or Advanced ERCP (Half-Day Course)
This track offers focused hands-on training in essential and
advanced endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP)
techniques. Participants may choose between the Basic or
Advanced ERCP Module based on their experience and skill level.
The Basic Module focuses on selective biliary cannulation, sphincterotomy, stone extraction, plastic and metal stent placement, management of post-sphincterotomy bleeding, migrated stent retrieval, and fractured guidewire retrieval. The Advanced Module covers complex biliary interventions, including mechanical lithotripsy, sphincteroplasty, use of the Soehendra emergency lithotripter, biliary stricture dilation, cholangioscopy-guided biopsy, intraductal lithotripsy using electrohydraulic lithotripsy (EHL) and laser, and management of impacted ampullary stones using needle-knife techniques. |

Visa Invitation Letter
Many international delegates require a visa to enter the Philippines. The APDW 2026 Congress Secretariat can issue official invitation letters to support your visa application. This service is available to all paid, confirmed registrants.
How to Request Your Visa Invitation Letter
Complete your registration and payment in full. The invitation letter service is only available to delegates with confirmed, paid registrations.
Log in to your registration portal using the link in your confirmation email. Navigate to My Registration โ Request Visa Letter.
Submit your passport details โ full name as shown on passport, passport number, nationality, and date of birth.
Receive your letter by email within 5โ7 business days. The letter is issued on APDW 2026 official letterhead and signed by the Congress Secretariat.

An invitation letter confirms your congress registration โ it does not guarantee visa approval. The decision rests solely with Philippine immigration authorities. Please apply well in advance of the congress.

Citizens of many countries can enter the Philippines visa-free for stays under 30 days. Check with the Philippine Embassy or consulate in your country for current requirements.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
All cancellations must be submitted in writing to info@apdw2026manila.com. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 30 days of approval.

Substitutions are accepted at no charge โ please notify the Secretariat at least 5 business days prior to the congress. Delegate substitutions must be in the same registration category.

Trainee / Fellow โ for residents, fellows, and trainees currently in a recognised GI or hepatology training programme. Proof of trainee status is required.
